We took Makenna to see him today, and his face lit up when she walked in the door of his room. She sat in his bed with him, and he showed her how to control the bed. She was a little hesitant to begin with because of the IV, etc. After about 10 minutes, she was fine.
The doctors are thinking that maybe his blood just got too thin and caused leaks. He was taking Coumadin, Plavix, and an aspirin each day (per cardiologist). His gastro dr. had a fit at this. My mom told him that she and my dad had questioned it, but the cardio dr. was very set on all of it. Hopefully, they will not find anything else and this will be an answered prayer. He looks so much better.
Yesterday was supposed to be a teacher workday. My district has decided to close schools on teacher workdays to save money. We will make up our time by staying until 6:00 on two different days. Anyway, I spent my day off at the dr. My headache was worse, and I began thinking about the ceiling tile in my room with mold/mildew all over it. It could be allergies. I called my allergist and set up an aptmt.
These are my symptoms.... horrible headache, dizziness, constant sweating. They did a nasal smear and said that I had a terrible sinus infection. I've never had a sinus infection without nasal congestion. The PA said that these are the worst kind, because everything is basically stuck in my head. They gave me an antibiotic, so we'll see. My head still hurts...
As I'm typing, Randy is teaching Makenna to say Roll Tide while watching the Alabama/Georgia game. Earlier (while she was busy playing), he screamed, "Shove it down their throats and make them like it!" I had to remind him that she would be repeating whatever he says. :)
By the way, Grandma called today asking for the address of my blog. Do you think someone told her about our baby boy from QVC? :)
