My girl, my girl, talking about my girl....

Makenna went to her first dance class this past Monday. She is taking tap/jazz. She had the best time dressing up and loved the dancing even more. When I picked her up from school that day, some of the kids in her class had been saying that she was short. It was a wonderful consolation that she is the oldest and tallest in her dance class. :) Here are a couple of more soccer pics from today. She had a fan club at the game. Papa, Nana, Grandma, Aunt Cindy, and Casey came to the game. Makenna was hilarious. Whenever she would touch the ball, she would look at us to see if we were watching.
Looks like a college scholarship athlete to me! :)

Tonight, we experienced our first estrogen breakdown. It wasn't pretty, and it broke my heart. She got really upset and began to tell me about school this week. No one wanted to play with her, and everyone was calling her a crybaby. While I'm sure she exaggerated some of it, it broke my heart to think of how many more of these conversations that we will have in the future. I talked her through it tonight, and she has a plan if she feels like it again. I just wasn't quite ready for all of the girl stuff yet. I guess she's growing up... :(

I love all of the pictures of Makenna and yes she is growing up and fast. Robert and I both love hearing all of her expressions. I can't wait for Marli to talk, you just never know whats going to come out of little childrens mouths :-)
