Makenna got to meet the fire dog at the recent public servants church service we attended. 
She and another little boy wanted to watch as the helicopter took off. I was kind of worried that she would run toward it when it started. What was I thinking??? She was terrified. When the dirt starting flying, she was crying uncontrollably. I felt so bad. We were only close because she wanted to be. 
This was before the helicopter took off. The pilot let her get inside and take a look. It was so cool!
