Today has been another rough day. Randy has been in the bed most of the day. I took Makenna to Awana tonight and then came home to stay with him. She got her first Sparks patch, the Hangglider. She was so excited! She's learned 6 verses since we started at the end of August. They are long and hard, and she amazes me with how fast she has learned them. I always had trouble with memorization, but she seems to be great at it.
I'm staying home with Randy tomorrow. I did get him to take a shower tonight. I told him that all of these young brides and grooms who think everything is going to be wonderfully happy all the time need to come and see "in sickness and in health". :) For those of you who know me well, my gift is definitely not service. I'm working hard at being the wife he needs right now.
Continue to pray.... he has about a 5 inch incision with 9 huge staples.
