Where has the summer gone?

Wow! This has to be the fastest summer ever! We've had a blast. We've painted pottery, took major swim lessons, gone to Jump Zone, tubed the Green River, worked on craft projects, cleaned out cabinets and drawers, and shopped way too much. :) I'm committing to making this year the best ever at school. Yesterday in Sunday School, our teacher said something that really got my attention. We should think "I GET to go to work" (or whatever else) instead of "I HAVE to go to work". Boy did this step on my toes! So, yesterday, as people were asking me if I was dreading going back to work, I said, "No, I'm ready! I could be in a hospital bed somewhere wishing that I could be at work." I was amazed at some of the responses. I'm praying that God will continue to help me see the positives instead of the negatives. :)
So, with that, I'm officially going to be back in teacher mode in lesss than 48 hours. Pray for Makenna has she goes to K5. I guess I should say pray for me as Makenna goes to K5. :) For all of my teacher friends, think positive and stay in the Word!

Yes! We are thankful for our jobs! I'm having to say the same thing right now. I have LOVED being home with Gavin this summer and I'm nowhere near ready to go back. But I look at the people who are dying for a teaching position but can't get one because hardly anyone is hiring (or at least CCE wasn't). I am definitely thankful I have a job waiting on me. (I just wish it could wait one more month.)
