Makenna's first day was wonderful! I got to pick her up today, and she had a huge smile on her face. What a way to end a day! I had a great day too. I have 2 major prayer requests from school. Chris, my co-worker, was diagnosed with a brain tumor on Thursday. She had surgery yesterday. She did well. I know she will have to get treatments, but I don't know any details. She had breast cancer in 05, so she's had a tough road. Our math/science coach's daughter, Morgan, had brain surgery yesterday to control a tremor in her right hand. She had a brain tumor 1.5 years ago and had radiation. The radiation caused the tremor. She did well but had a seizure last night. The last update said that she was out of ICU.
I'm asking for prayer for both families, as well as our school and the students in Chris's class. Also, pray that we find a sub that can handle everything. We have a wonderful lady helping us this week until my principal can find someone. To say that life is fragile is an understatement. Tell all of the special people in your lives that you LOVE them. Don't wait.
