Father's Day Funny

Today was a busy day. We went to church and had a wonderful service. Then, the 3 of us went to lunch. When we got home, Randy unwrapped his presents, and we got Pop and Papa's presents ready to take to them. We went to Pop's house first and spent some great time socializing and catching up from their beach trip. Then, we headed to see Papa. Makenna spent some time swimming with my niece Katelyn, but then it began to rain.

They played inside for a while, and we socialized some more. After we left there, we went to DQ to get an ice cream. While we were there, Randy said that we should check out the new playground equipment at the local park. So, we did. This is when the "funny" happened.

We were playing and climbing when Makenna said, "I've got to go to the potty. My stomach hurts." For those of you who know her, you know how odd it is for her to ever NEED to use the potty. She also announced that she wanted her Daddy to take her. When they came out, he was laughing. This was the story... hope it's not TMI.

She hasn't asked for help with wiping in a while, but I'm usually the one who is in the bathroom with her. When Randy asked her if he needed to wipe her or if she was, she announced, "You can wipe me dad. I know you want to because it's Father's Day and you can do whatever you want!"

Oh the things that come out of her little mouth!!! :)
