Christmas at the Masseys

This was the first year that Makenna understood the meaning of Christmas. We had a birthday party for Jesus at church, and she learned Luke 2:8-14 at school. She recited it as many times as we could get her to do it, and many people were amazed that she could remember so many verses. I was so proud of her, especially when they played it on the big screen during our Christmas program at church.
One of the (many) funny things she did ask me over the holidays was, "Mom - do I have to wear this Christmas dress AGAIN?" I keep thinking to myself.... she's only 3. What is it going to be like when she is 13?
This is Makenna and my niece Katelyn. Guess what Nana and Papa gave them as part of their Christmas presents???? I just can't wait until the sleepovers at Nana & Papa's house. :)

We had a wonderful and blessed Christmas! Of course, time is flying by, and it will be time to go back to school before long. If you are up for a movie, go see "Alvin & the Chipmunks". We went yesterday, and it is awesome. We've been coloring, watching movies, playing games, etc.... enjoying every minute of vacation!
