Back to "Normal"

Okay... Makenna is infection free. Yep... but she is still not sleeping through the night every night. Maybe about once every three or four weeks, she sleeps all the way through the night without waking up screaming and wandering(or running) throughout the house... not enough for me and Randy. :) I think I have a gift card left over from my birthday to Crossway Christian Bookstore, and I feel as if I should look into The Strong-Willed Child by Dr. James Dobson. Would any of you recommend it?

I laugh about it, but we are really dealing with some obedience issues. It really reminds me of how much God must get irritated with me when I am disobedient to him. He still loves me unconditionally, but He must discipline me. It's that part that we all hate. Even as a parent, it's still that part that I hate.

Please pray for me that I will be the kind of mother that Makenna needs. I know God is going to use her strong will just like He has used mine. Just pray that we can work through it together!
