Really struggling...

I have to know I'm not the only working mother in the world who struggles with a schedule... this has been my week so far.

Sunday - church, grocery store, make cookies for Makenna's class for her bday

Monday - Makenna's bday. Go to school. Pick her up. Come home. Bath. Go out to eat with our families. (Had a blast!)

Today - Go to school. My friend who normally picks Mak up was sick, so I had to leave a planning meeting early to go get her. I remembered that I had some pics at WalMart that I hadn't picked up. Right as we were going in, Makenna said that her ear was hurting. By the time we got the pics, she was in tears. Called dr. Can't see us at local office. Had to drive to town. (45 minutes from where we were). Mak cried the entire way. It broke my heart. I had to keep praying to keep from crying myself. Got there... no doc. Nurse gave motrin. Makenna cried and cried. By the time the dr. got there, she was calming down. Her ear is terribly infected. Came home. Randy said that his cousin was coming to look at our bedroom suit. Rushed to clean up. Didn't get it all done. Bath. Mak asleep on couch waiting for cousin.

Wednesday - Meeting during break. Meeting after school until at least 4:00. Start marriage class at church at 7:00.

Thursday - Field trip all day (I'm responsible for.). Makenna has to be at dentist at 3:20. They are probably going to pull some teeth. I'm supposed to get another bladder treatment at 3:45. Not quite sure how I'm going to pull that off. Haven't got that worked out yet. Have to go back to school to PTO.

Friday - Maybe try to actually get my lesson plans for next week done. (Good because they are due before I leave on Friday.) Get everything ready for bday party. Pick up cake. Pick up balloons.

Saturday - PARTY!!!! :)

I'm really struggling right now, because of teaching science. It's not my strength, and it takes me forever to plan for it. Also, going for these bladder treatments once a week is driving me crazy. Someone at work said, "At least you don't have to stay all day until PTO on Thursday." I didn't say anything, but I wanted to say, "I would stay at work for days on end to keep from getting cathed and be able to eat the foods that cause my bladder to flare." I held my tongue though. Most people don't know about IC and the pain that it gives me.

So... there it is! My plate is full. As I was coming home tonight, I heard this on the radio....

"Don't tell God how big your storm is. Tell the storm how big your God is." So okay, schedule... God is going to whoop you into shape! :)

I love you Andrea, and I totally know where you are coming from. Sorry today was such a BAD day. Next time, I will help you plan the Roper Mtn. trip. Not that I know what I am doing either, but at least it won't all be on you! I am praying for you, girl.
