I've been tagged...

My friend, Kimberly, tagged me, so here goes...

We were celebrating 2 years of marriage. I was about to begin my 5th year of teaching. We lived in Easley, and we moved back home. We rented a small (very) house from the parents of a college friend. We began to save money to build our own house.

5 things on today's to-do list...

I have to write about tomorrow, because it's 10:30 pm.

1. Take Makenna to see Alvin & The Chipmunks at the free movie in town. Yes, we've seen it and own it, but there's nothing like popcorn.
2. Lay out Makenna's clothes/hair accessories for next week while I'm gone to Seattle on a mission trip. (Randy is colorblind, so this is VERY important.)
3. Blow up the twin air mattress to make sure it doesn't leak before I pack it for the trip.
4. Eat lunch with my friend, DeAnna, and her girls
5. Take Makenna to a soccer evaluation for Upward Soccer. Her first game is in a couple of weeks, and they want to make sure the teams are even.

5 things I would do if I were a billionaire...

1. Pay off our house and home equity loan
2. Pay off our church building
3. Travel to the Caribbean
4. Adopt again... and maybe again (I could hire a nanny to help me!)
5. Send money to help children in other countries

3 bad habits...

1. Biting my nails
2. Eating in the living room
3. Compulsive washing my hands

5 places I've lived...

1. Greer
2. Easley
3. Clemson
4. Pendleton
5. Taylors

5 jobs I've had...

1. Teacher
2. Substitute teacher
3. Florist delivery
4. Insurance gopher
5. Accounts payable assistant

5 people I'm tagging.... some of you don't have blogs, so leave it on my comments!

1. DeAnna
2. Lori
3. Kelly
4. Julie
5. Cindy

For some reason I cannot find your right email address.
So here goes. I am definitely going to wait a year to do National Boards. I am going to "study up" this year so I can feel more prepared for it. So if you are up for it, I'd love to share the stress with someone in 09-10.
We actually have a popup camper, but it has heat, air, toilet, shower, etc. WE've tested it out in rough weather (hot, cold, snow, rain, etc) and have never had any trouble. we bought ours new from Peco campers in Tucker, Ga. It was the best deal by far and worth the drive. My brother-in-law just bought one used and it is nice and they love it. Having it has enabled us to go many more places b/c we dont have to pay for hotels, and we cook most of our own meals. Plus it is "camping" without being in a tent! ; )
