Since Randy only had one day off for the 4th, we decided to have a celebration of our own. Randy's sister, her husband, and her son came. Her daughters were with friends. Our friends, Kenny and DeAnna, brought their girls. We swam at my parents' house and then came back her for a cookout. We ate and ate and ate (did I mention that we ate?)... and then Kenny shot some fireworks! We had a blast! (forgive the pun) 
Makenna was scared of the fireworks, but she did finally try a sparkler!!!
